Isle of Barra -on the end of the world.

Scottish Outer Hebrides and one of them Isle of Barra (Eilean Bharraigh-in Scottish Gaelic).
Placed around 70 miles form west coast of Scotland  on Atlantic Ocean.
To get on the Barra you need ferry or plane.
We decided to take a ferry from Oban, below:

Below is the ferry. We (a couple)went with our car for price £150 two way.
At this time of Summer in Scotland in August was 18 C degree, Hot like for Scotland.
Great weather it is important before taking this trip to Outer Hebrides because over there will be always lower temperatures than in the mainland.
Castlebay below. Main village on the island -quite small.
Kisimul Castle located in the bay. Like you can see the weather changed (form 18 to 14 C).

Streets in Barra and North Scotland are often very narrow and curvy.
Great place for bicycles trip because of very low traffic.

The sights view are amazing of course if you lucky with the weather.

And the best of the island apart of quiet calm environment -the white coral sandy beaches.
There are 22 of them:

Below, me with barbecue stuff on this white coral beach.

Barra like I did point out before has a small airport.
The airport is on the beach, only one in the world depending on the low tides.
Sometimes ago it was voted the world's most stunning landing spot.

This few days on the Barra with sights of seals and relaxing gone quickly.
Last look on the Ocean and time to go back home.
