In May in Scotland we have a nice sunny weather so we decided to climb the Ben Lomond. Ben Lomond (974 meters height) is one of the most popular Munros-Mountain, with fantastic views of the length of Loch Lomond and far into the hills to the north and the Trossachs to the east.
Unfortunately the path is very rocky and difficult even to walk down, at least for the beginners or occasional climbers like us.
We started form Loch Lomond car park.

Some cows disturb us on the way :)
Ben Lomond -still a bit to climb-with some patch of snow:)
View on the Loch Lomond...to that point climbing took us over two hours:)
Walking down from that point took us about an one hour.
To the top another one hour and good clothing because the weather is worse up there.
Time to back home:)
